What BBK eats

Fiesta, Fiesta!

ABOUT LAST NIGHT:

Last night Kariim & I went to a friends Fiesta themed dinner party & then headed over to a Lounge on Peachtree St. in Midtown  Atlanta to celebrate another friends 39th Birthday! The night was full of food, fun, laughs, and libations 🙂

PLANNING & PREPARATION:

Since we knew we’d be  going out with friends this weekend, we made sure to EAT CLEAN and HYDRATE all week leading up to the festivities.  We also increased our Cardio to be ahead of the calories we planned to take in.

WHAT DID WE EAT:

Chicken and Steak Fajitas, Rice,  Salsa & Guacamole, Chips,  a delicious Pineapple Slaw, Low-fat Tequila Lime Cheesecake, and your choice of Frozen Margaritas, Corona Light, Wine, or Water.

I took a few photos from dinner #Highlights

The Pineapple slaw:  This was a creative twist. We will definitely revisit this recipe.

Before heading to E’Villa, I changed shoes for more of a Club Look 🙂

E’Villa Lounge has a cool, Urban vibe – serving Ethiopian cuisine. We arrived to the party a little late and didn’t get a chance to try the food.  The party was in FULL EFFECT when we arrived!!!

Over all it was a fun night!!!!!! Today, we are relaxing at home – doing a little laundry, meal prep, and getting ready for a productive week.
