Mango Hemp Smoothie

Before our morning run, I made this delicious energy packed protein smoothie. Not only is it rich in protein, it’s full of antioxidants, Vitamin C, fatty acids, B vitamins, promotes healthy digestion, boost alkaline levels in your body, promotes weight loss, natural energy boost, and helps regulate diabetes & high cholesterol.
Ingredient Highlight:
Hemp Seeds: Organic Raw shelled hemp seeds, (part of the SUPER FOOD family) – has 10 grams of Protein, and 3 grams of Omega 3 per serving.
Rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, which helps promote cardiovascular health.
Hemp Seeds have a delicious nutty taste similar to pine nuts. They can be used on salads, smoothies, sprinkled on many of your favorites foods or just eaten alone. *They can be found at any health food store, Famers Market, Whole Foods, or you local Grocery Store in the Organic food section.*
Smoothie Ingredients:
NOTE: I was making enough for 2 people. Adjust ingredients based on the number of people you are serving. 1 Dragon Fruit
- 1/2 Mango (Not all is pictured)
- 1 whole Dragon Fruit
- 1/4 cup Hemp Seeds
- 1 cup Spinach (optional)
- 1/2 cup of water
- 6 ice cubes
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to the blender/smoothie maker. Blend to your liking and ENJOY!
*If you’d like to make extra as part of your meal prep, please use MASON JARS to store them. It will seal in the freshness of your smoothie.
*This is what it looks like with Spinach. Adding additional nutrients + fiber.
