Can’t take credit for making this delicious seaweed salad. But I did take the photo once we got home before indulging LOL!
I wanted to share the details on where to find it.
If you are in Atlanta, the Dekalb Farmers Market has an amazing seaweed salad that they make in-house.
Seaweed can provide high levels of nutrients that are essential for your over all health as well as fetal development and maternal health.
There are several types of seaweed which include, green, red and brown.
The edible form of green seaweed (pictured above), is known as sea lettuce.
- It’s full of iron
- Vitamin C
- Good source of Omega – 3 fatty acids
- Vitamin B12
- Vitamin K
- A good source of fiber (promotes weight loss)
- Iodine (great for healthy Thyroid gland)
Other Benefits Include:
*Helps regulate PMS
*Prevents inflammation, which contributes to a host of ailments like: arthritis, celiac disease, asthma, depression, and obesity.
