What BBK eats

GUNSHOW – Restaurant ATL

Friday night, Kariim and I went to one of our favorites spots ….. GunShow Restaurant (located in the Glenwood area, in Atlanta, GA).

GunShow is owned by Chef Kevin Gillespie, who was a finalist in the sixth season of Top Chef, Bravo’s cooking competition show and was voted as the “Fan Favorite” contestant for the season.

The thing we love most about this restaurant is –  you never know what’s going to be on the menu until you arrive. There’s usually about 7 Chefs there, all preparing dishes with their own creative flare + taste.

Such a cool concept:

After each Chef has prepared their dish, they will come around with a tray. Explain to you what they’ve prepared – and you have the option to say Yes, I’d like to try it. Or No I’ll pass.

If you choose to pass, No hard feelings, they make several dishes – so they will be back with something else that you might want to try.

All while you’re enjoying amazing cocktails and an inviting ambiance.

They always have a surprise item of the night.

We’ve gone before, and the surprise item was a delicious burger. Not your average burger! It was the Chefs version of the In AND Out Burger based out of LA. It was sooooo good!

We would definitely recommend this place to those that love trying different cuisine and love the real food experience.  Some of the combinations are far from traditional, but always very tasty. 🙂

Below we’re sharing several items we had.  Note: A few things we ate before we started taking pictures….
