What BBK eats
Muss & Turner’s
October 16th, 2014
Kariim & I went to Muss & Turner’s – (Located in Smyrna, GA) with friends. LOVED IT!!!
Eating Local: Farm to Table – The menu options change frequently based on what is fresh and available from the local farmers. We love that!!! This makes the food experience even more exciting for us! It’s a great way to try different flavors and food combinations you wouldn’t normally put together.
Type of Food: Deli sandwiches by day and New Southern Cuisine by night. #SeasonalCuisine
Preparation: This was a planned outing, so the week of – we made sure to have a structured week of clean eating. Upped our workout intensity, incorporating more Cardio to stay ahead of the calories we planned to take in.
The Night: Kariim & I arrived to the restaurant a little early to check out the “Hidden Bar” in Muss & Turner’s called Eleanor’s. A definite highlight! The cool thing is, if you don’t know about it- you wouldn’t know it exist. The bar is hidden behind a freezer door……
Once you enter…..you walk down a hall way that leads you to the bar area.
The Bar Area- Eleanor’s. You can also have dinner in this area. We’ll definitely revisit.

Dinner: We tried several different menu items…. The Ruben & Fries not pictured 🙂
Deviled egg with Spanish white anchovies
Crunchy Salad (chick peas…)
Scallops
Grilled Wild Boar Tenderloin Tips
Lamb Spaghetti
Everything was delicious!!! The Lamb Spaghetti inspired us to make it at home the next day. Kariim used ground Lamb to make the meatballs—-amazzzzzing!

Learning how to prep. for an outing, sure eases the eating out guilt. I seems to try to catch-up after the ice cream.
